PASCO, Wash. — A man has been arrested after he bribed an officer with Taco Bell in exchange for ignoring the cocaine in his car.

Officer Joshua Glass stopped Eric Xavier Vela Arriaga, 27, for an equipment violation Thursday, KEPR reported.

Glass noticed small baggies with white powder inside the center console. When he questioned Arriaga, the man put a cellphone on top of the drugs and said it was “just cocaine residue.” Arriaga then offered Glass a “hook up” at Taco Bell if he ignored the drugs.

“Officer Glass thanked him for the offer, since he likes Taco Bell, but declined,” the department wrote on Facebook.

When his car was searched, police found more bags of cocaine. Arriaga was detained on an investigative hold for cocaine possession, and could face charges of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and attempted bribery.
