Corey Trabucco was in the back of a Pasco County sheriff’s cruiser Saturday afternoon, his head resting on the screen separating him from the deputy driving.
Trabucco, 21, had been arrested on charges of possession and trafficking of a controlled substance - Percocet, which contains oxycodone. He kept asking the deputy to reduce the charges to simple possession, the arrest report said, but the deputy refused.
Trabucco uttered an obscenity, then said, “I’m going to jail anyway.” And then Trabucco “forced himself to gag” and vomited through the screen, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office report. The fluids landed on the deputy’s head, ear and shoulder, as well as the seat.
Trabucco “also covered himself with vomit in the process,” the sheriff’s report said.
In addition to the drug charges, Trabucco, 3636 McCloud St. in New Port Richey, was charged with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer.
He was being held in the Pasco jail in lieu of $8,000 bail.
