BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — A man led police on a high-speed pursuit down I-94 after he stole an ambulance in southwest Michigan.

Multiple departments took part in the pursuit, which featured speeds of more than 90 miles per hour, according to a news release.

The Three Oaks Ambulance was stolen while the crew was getting food at Panera Bread in St Joseph Township around 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The crew had just dropped off a patient at Spectrum Lakeland Hospital in St Joseph.
