MADRID, Spain — Video of a K-9 performing CPR on a police officer in Spain has gone viral.
According to Newsweek, the Municipal Police of Madrid posted video of the K-9 showcasing his life-saving skills on social media. In the video, a police officer pretends to suffer a medical emergency and collapses.
K-9 Poncho, who has a blue police light strapped to his back, runs over to the seemingly lifeless officer. Poncho jumps repeatedly on the officer’s chest and nestles his head on the LEO’s neck as if he were checking the officer’s pulse.
Madrid police praised Poncho for not hesitating to “save” the officer’s life.
