LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Kentucky lieutenant died on duty Thursday after suffering a heart attack.
According to WDRB, 55-year-old Lieutenant Scott Travis of the Bullitt County Detention Center complained of chest pain shortly after clearing snow in the parking lot of the detention center Wednesday evening.
He was found dead at his home a few hours later.
The officer served with the center for 11 years. According to ODMP, he is survived by his mother and eight siblings.
