OKEECHOBEE, Fla. — Three teen restaurant workers were fired and arrested after allegedly spitting in food they served to two deputies.
According to WFTS, the three workers spit in the food when the uniformed deputies visited the local restaurant for dinner on April 27.
An anonymous person tipped off the restaurant’s owner, who viewed video footage of the incident. The owner then fired the workers and notified police.
The juveniles were arrested and charged with food tampering, a first-degree felony, and battery on a law enforcement officer, a third-degree felony.
