CINCINNATI — Thanks to a few helpful hands from law enforcement in Cheviot, a woman was able to deliver healthy baby twins at the fire station.
A woman, pregnant with twins, and her grandfather were driving along Harrison Avenue when she unexpectedly went into labor. The family pulled into the parking lot of the Cheviot Fire Department, Station 16, and began to scream for help as one of the twins breached.
While most were absent at the station, firefighter David Miller was on scene with David Cheviot police Sgt. Richard Fenster. They assisted in delivering the other twin — a baby boy. Born just before arrival at the station was a little baby girl.
