BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — An 11-year-old boy seems to have a knack for “creative” marketing.
With temperatures in the 90s, the boy, identified by CNN only as Seth, decided to set up a stand on the side of the road offering some cool refreshment.
He then turned to advertising, holding a sign saying “ICE COLD BEER.”
That turned a few heads and led to a call to the Brigham City police, who sent officers to investigate.
Turns out it was all on the up-and-up ... written in tiny letters above the word BEER was “root.”
The police department put a post on its Facebook page about Seth’s stand. Seth told officers that business has been good.
“Quite honestly, once our officers got there they found it quite ingenious,” Lt. Tony Ferderber tells CNN.
