GRIFFIN, GA -- Inside, it is a standard Waffle House, but outside, it is a place frozen by a moment – when, five months ago, Griffin Police officer Kevin Jordan, while working at the Waffle House, was shot and killed.
“He was very nice, very polite, very respectful when you talked to him,” Terry Livecche said. “The things that he did in the local community, those are the things we miss the most.”
The people he once protected decided to give a hand back.
