HARLEM, N.Y. — Video captured police in Harlem as they TASERed a man who was naked and armed with a knife at a playground on Thursday.
The New York Daily News reports the unidentified man stripped naked and shoved a man to the ground after stumbling onto a playground.
The man, who appeared disoriented, was pepper-sprayed by police to no avail. Parents grabbed their children as police continued to order the man to drop the knife in the midday incident. Police were able to subdue the man after deploying a TASER.
The man was transported to a hospital. He was charged with assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and public lewdness, according to the report.
