GammaTech has introduced a new 15.6 inch model to its rugged line of Durabook laptops.
The S15AB is designed to be a tough and dependable laptop for the various environments first responders work in.
The 15.6 inch LCD display has high-definition resolution at 1920x1080.
The outer case of the notebook is made of magnesium alloy, which is 20 times stronger than ABS plastic found in other laptops, according to a press release. The notebook has been tested to 810G for vibration resistance. The face of the unit — including keyboard, keypad, buttons and indicators — offer spill protection.
The notebook is equipped with several security options, including an administrative password control and tracking capabilities.
The S15AB holds up to 16GB of memory, multiple HDD/SDD storage options (up to 1TB for HDD and 512GB for SDD) and has over 8.5 hours of battery life. It also has an integrated handle on the front for carrying.
The notebook is compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 7 64-bit and 8.1 32-bit.
