GLADSTONE, Ore. — A man was arrested almost immediately for attempting to steal a bike from a police station.
The suspect, identified as Adam Valle, walked up the Gladstone Police Station with a pair of bolt cutters he was going to use to take the bike, Fox News reports. In a video Gladstone police released on Facebook, Valle wore a black, hooded sweatshirt and what appeared to be a ski mask to hide his identity.
Two officers sitting inside the station watched as Valle fussed with the bike lock. An officer walked out and stopped the would-be thief within minutes. He was charged with theft, criminal mischief and felony possession of weapons.
He was arrested in November on similar charges.
