Andrew Heuett

Andrew Heuett graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and became a police officer in 2006. He became a defensive tactics instructor in 2009, received his Defensive Tactics Master Instructor Certification in 2012, and joined the Port of Seattle Police Department in 2016. His defensive tactics experience includes instruction at the Washington State Basic Law Enforcement Academy and his wider martial arts experience includes amateur competition in MMA and boxing. He has branched out as an instructor for his department for TASER and reality-based scenario training, is active as a PTO, and regularly instructs patrol tactics at regional training events.
