Dear Police1 Member,

Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, part of a month-long campaign to bring awareness to human trafficking across the globe. With an estimated 24.9 million victims worldwide at any given time, human traffickers prey on adults and children of all ages and backgrounds. Sexual exploitation is the most identified form of human trafficking, followed by forced labor.

Access these Police1 resources to keep current on human trafficking issues in the United States:

► Listen to the latest Policing Matters podcast on sexual exploitation, human trafficking and the decriminalization of prostitution.

► Learn how law enforcement can use digital technology to intercept human trafficking.

► Improve your human trafficking investigations with interrogation themes that get confessions.

Stay safe,
