PHOENIX — A Texas man injured five TSA agents when he charged through a checkpoint at an Arizona airport on June 18.
According to CNN, 19-year-old Tyrese Garner rushed through a checkpoint and punched officers to try to get through the checkpoint before he was tackled and subdued. TSA held Garner until police arrived.
One officer was taken to the hospital and four others were taken to urgent care clinics where they were treated and released.
Garner was arrested and charged with five counts of misdemeanor assault, criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.
