Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
Incumbent monitors, answers, and dispatches phone and radio communications as well as monitors cameras and alarm systems. Incumbent dispatches Police Officers and or maintenance workers as required. Incumbent relies on established procedures, work experience, and may use department and equipment manuals as required. Errors could result in police not responding to a call or dispatching personnel unnecessarily or to the incorrect location.

Scheduled work days involve any day of the year, during a 24 hour period. Scheduled for 5, 8 hour days, with two days off. Incumbent will work on a rotating schedule to include weekends and holidays with two days off.

Job Requirements
