Additional Information

The City of Carrollton borders north Dallas and has a population of 144,000. 60% of job is serving warrants by making fugitive arrests in the three counties in which the City Court has jurisdiction (Dallas, Denton, Collin counties). 20% of job is prisoner transfers and 20% is warrant/arrest paperwork. Would prefer applicant to have 4 years LE experience (but not mandatory). A Texas TCOLE LE certification is required. Must be able to self-initiate and be productive with little supervision. The Carrollton Marshals Office is an independent six-man TCOLE law enforcement agency, and while it is separate from the Carrollton Police department, a very close working relationship exists between the agencies (we provide backup for each other). All equipment/uniforms are furnished. Work is performed with limited supervision. Weekdays only, no night or weekend work. This is a small unit and a great place to work.
