Job Description

The Lady Lake Police department is looking for qualified individuals, who wish to pursue/continue their careers as Law Enforcement officers, within the state of Florida. Lady Lake is located in North, Central Florida, and has a civilian population of approximately 16,000 residents and growing at a rapid pace.

The department has 30 sworn officers, including, two detectives, two K9 units, Bicycle Patrol units, Animal Control Officer, and Road Patrol. The police department averages around 30,000+ calls for service each year and this number continues to grow as the town expands.

The starting pay for an officer is $45,864. There are additional benefits that the town provides that will increase your minimum salary. There are 36 hours of In-Service Training Annually, 10 Town recognized holidays each fiscal year, $150 a year for boot allowance, and $400 a year for clothing maintenance. With all these benefits included, your minimum annual salary will be ++no less than++ $50,000 a year. The Chief of Police also has the discretion to give sign-on bonuses of up to $2000 *for prior law enforcement experience or up to *$1000 for non-experienced.
