Police Officer

Under general direction from the patrol sergeant and in accordance with established policies and procedures, incumbent assumes responsibility for the protection of life and property, through enforcement of laws and ordinances. Work normally consists of routine patrol, preliminary investigation, answering complaints, and traffic enforcement.

This department prides itself on top-of-the-line equipment for its officers. Currently, we have two cruisers and one e-bike. The equipment packages in our cruisers have top-of-the-line radar systems, computer systems, Noptic night vision camera systems, and LED light kits. We also have a digital fingerprinting system.

• Age: 21 or older
• Education: High School or equivalent
• Experience: Entry level and lateral entry for full time certified officers
