AARDVARK announces plans to expand their tactical offerings to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies
La Verne, CA – AARDVARK announced today its plans for a dramatic expansion in its state and local law enforcement business. This expansion will include a wide array of changes designed to broaden its reach and expand the programs available to federal, state, and local law enforcement tactical operators. These new programs include: new manufacturer partnerships, an expansion of AARDVARK’s product lines, new training events, a new website, new social media outlets, the addition of more staff to the law enforcement channel, and the return of AARDVARK’s popular Demo Day and SWAT competition rebranded as AARTAC.
At the launch for this new program, AARDVARK’s CEO Jon Becker announced, “Over the past few years we have watched in frustration as the tactical community has been underserved and poorly advised by uniform stores who, although great at selling clothing, don’t really understand the tactical community.”
Becker continued, “For almost three decades, AARDVARK has focused on protecting tactical operators. Regardless of whether that operator is in Los Angeles serving a warrant, Colombia chasing drug traffickers, or Afghanistan hunting the Taliban, it is our duty, and our privilege, to ensure that they are as well protected and trained as possible. It is my hope that this expansion will allow us to increase both the scope and reach for the teams we support and to bring to those teams a distributor that understands and specializes in their needs.”
AARDVARK’s expansion will be anchored by the AARDVARKTACTICAL.com website which will specialize in products and tools for tactical operators and teams. In addition, AARDVARK has also created social media accounts geared to LE Tactical interests at Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook which will provide specific content for its tactical clients.
On October 16, 2015 AARDVARK will be hosting AARTAC2015, an annual event featuring a tactical team competition, free training for tactical operators, product demonstrations, and vendor displays. The event will be held at Prado Olympic Shooting Park in Chino, CA.
