Pepperball reinforces commitment to the global law enforcement community with strategic investments and new leadership roles
LAKE FOREST, IL — PepperBall, the leading provider of non-lethal solutions for law enforcement, is doubling down on its commitment to enhance safety and effectiveness in law enforcement globally. In response to record demand for its products in daily policing, the PepperBall Board of Directors has approved substantial investments to:
a. Expand its premier range of products including the patented PepperBall projectile, renowned for providing the highest accuracy in non-lethal projectile deployment as confirmed through ASTM testing methodology.
b. Significantly broaden its go-to-market capabilities across the U.S., Federal Government, and the thousands of state and local agencies that deploy PepperBall today.
In addition, PepperBall CEO, Bob Plaschke, announced noteworthy personnel changes to support and drive the Company's rapid growth as law enforcement agencies progressively embrace police reform and move towards deploying non-lethal systems as their first, safest option.
- Michael Lee joins PepperBall as VP/GM of the U.S. State and Local Law Enforcement Division. With a 20-year public safety legacy, Lee's expertise spans roles as a former Texas peace officer and vice president of sales for three different public safety companies where he built multiple high performing sales teams and championed several different advances in public safety.
- Monte Scott, who previously led PepperBall as the VP of Global Sales, will now focus exclusively on the expanding federal and international customer base as VP of Federal and International Sales, providing dedicated attention to address the unique opportunities and needs of these segments.
- Mike Lukas will lead PepperBall global supply chain and operations to ensure efficient manufacture and delivery of its high-demand products worldwide.
Bob Plaschke stated, "As policing in the U.S. evolves to embrace reform and de-escalation, our non-lethal solutions (with underlying technology similar to a paintball system), have proven effective in changing behavior, enabling compliance at a safe distance, and creating a safe buffer zone that protects both officers and citizens.”
“These strategic appointments, along with our expanded investment, underline our commitment to supporting our customers with the best non-lethal de-escalation solutions and will further help us meet strong market demand for PepperBall products,” concluded Plaschke.
The company's strategic moves are consistent with its over 20-year commitment to supporting U.S. and international policing agencies with non-lethal, effective, and versatile solutions that prioritize safety of both the public and law enforcement officers.
