MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — When graduation rolls around, a new group of excited job seekers are ready to enter the work force -- and these graduates are no exception.
The Connecticut State Police Canine Unit graduated the 181st Narcotic Detection Dog class in a ceremony on July 8.
All eight K9 teams are trained to detect narcotics, including heroin and Fentanyl, according to a post on the Connecticut State Police Facebook page.
The canines are all Labradors from Guiding Eyes for the Blind in New York, and the ceremony comes after an 11-week training course.
