BALTIMORE — Police in Baltimore said an officer shot a man in the arm and upper body after he fired at police while trying to flee.
Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said no officers were injured in Tuesday night’s shooting. The Baltimore Sun reported the suspect was listed in serious but stable condition at a hospital but is expected to survive.
Guglielmi said officers responded to the 3000 block of Spaulding Ave. in northwest Baltimore around 9 p.m. Tuesday after hearing gunfire. The suspect then allegedly fired at officers while running from the scene.
