Teens break into Texas police chief’s home

Nothing appeared stolen in the home, which makes police believe the teens were scared off by the alarm

SUGAR LAND, Texas — Two teenagers have been charged with breaking into the police chief’s home, according to Sugar and police.

Conner Hinton and Taylor Nuttal, both 17, are charged with burglary. The home belongs to Sugar Land Police Chief Doug Brinkley. Chief Brinkley’s response to the incident: “Holy Crap!”

A neighbor reported seeing two men climb over a fence near her house and told officers what they looked like. Another resident in a nearby neighborhood reported a suspicious vehicle with two men inside parked in front of her house.
