TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — A Utah police officer is in serious condition and a second is in critical condition after a shootout Wednesday night, according to KUTV. The suspect was killed.
According to the report, the incident began at a gas station where 20-year-old Anei Joker was holding a baby hostage inside a car. Police said officers were able to negotiate with Joker to release the infant, but the man refused to get out of the car himself.
