Where did your company name originate from?
The corporate name “Bayco Products, Inc.” is an abbreviation of our owner’s last name and the word “co” derived from the word company.
What was the inspiration behind starting your company?
In 1984, Bayco Products, Inc. was started out of a garage in Plano, TX after the founder and owner had frustrations with a common household electrical product still used today. Now 30 years later, the company has two brands, Bayco and Nightstick, comprising over 650 products with a focus on professional lighting utilizing LED technology.
Why do you believe your products are essential to the police community?
The Nightstick brand tagline of “Life Depends on LightTM” perfectly summarizes the risk taken every day by the police community and their requirement of dependable lighting. The most important tool besides a radio is a quality flashlight. What better way to phrase your commitment to the EMS/Fire/Police community then providing dependable Nightstick lighting products used daily around the globe.
What has been the biggest challenge your company has faced?
