WHEATON, Ill. — Say it ain’t dough!
The call came in about a traffic hazard, but what cops found was a veritable dough-tastrophe: about five dozen doughnuts blocking a roadway in Wheaton, Ill.
Cops shoveled the demolished dunkers into two buckets, crushing crullers with their boots to make them fit. The police action was caught on camera and posted on Twitter.

Law enforcement was reportedly tight-lipped after their doughnut disposal mission, reported ABC News, not responding to further requests for comment.
“It’s not clear who dropped them there, or why,” WLS-TV reported.
The incident report, obtained and posted by Chicago attorney Matthew Topic, who also posted the initial footage, was terse.
“On Naperville – tons of donuts in the middle of the road,” read the report delineating the call for service. “50-60 donuts in intersection. Situation resolved/cleaned. Disposition: Administratively closed.”
