MONROE, Mich. — A 43-year-old man bared more than the truth while trying to surrender on an outstanding warrant in Michigan. The Monroe Evening News reported that the man was arrested after taking off all his clothing Sunday afternoon in the lobby of the Monroe County sheriff’s office, about 35 miles southwest of Detroit.
Authorities said the man told a records clerk in the building about his warrant. He walked away as she looked up the paperwork, then returned naked.
By the time Monroe city police arrived, the man had his clothing back on. He was taken to a local hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
