PRESCOTT, Ariz. — Authorities in Arizona are searching for a missing 3-year-old girl whose parents say was last seen playing outside on the porch of their home.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office says it received a call from Victoria Bensch’s parents just after 6 p.m. Thursday. The parents spent an hour searching the area around their home before contacting authorities.
The girl is from Cordes Lakes, a small town east of Prescott. The family’s residence adjoins state land where a portion of the search effort is ongoing.
The girl has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a brown shirt and pink pants.
Authorities say no one at the girl’s home heard anything unusual or suspicious before she was discovered missing.
