FORT SUPPLY, Okla. — Authorities in northwest Oklahoma are searching for three inmates who escaped from a minimum-security prison in Woodward County.
Department of Corrections spokesman Jerry Massie says the three were discovered missing about 10 last night at the William S- Key Correctional Center in Fort Supply.
Massie says Bruce Leverich, Joseph Sherfield and Dale Beaumont apparently just walked away from the prison which has no security fence.
Massie says Leverich was convicted of assault and battery, Sherfield of burglary and Beaumont of larceny.
