MAPLE HILLS, Ohio — A former police officer is accused of displaying excessive force against an FBI employee, who claims his arm was broken during an altercation at a recording studio.
Officer Alexander Casey was called to the studio following a report that a man was holding another man at gunpoint inside.
Casey and other officers ordered everyone inside the studio to the ground, then approached an FBI employee and allegedly kicked his arm, breaking it.
According to WKYC, this is the second accusation of excessive force against Casey in two years.
Abram Williams says he was pulled over by Casey and was repeatedly kicked as he lay on the ground until another officer intervened.
“I remember him telling Casey to stop, to get back, this was before the supervisor even gave the command for him to stop,” said Williams. “He was proud of what he done to me.”
Williams filed a federal complaint against the city and Casey which was settled out of court in 2011, according to the report.
