ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Three Zanesville police officers were arrested last night on federal charges involving a cocaine-trafficking conspiracy.

Sean Beck, 28, Trevor Fusner, 31, and Chad Mills, 29, all were in the Franklin County jail last night, a deputy said.

The officers, accused of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, were taken into custody last night by the FBI and the Muskingum County sheriff’s office.

Each is scheduled to appear in federal court this morning on the charges, sources told WBNS-TV (Channel 10).

Details of their arrests are expected to be released this morning at a news conference, said sources within the Muskingum County sheriff’s office.

Zanesville Police Chief Eric Lambes refused to discuss the case last night, other than saying that the U.S. attorney’s office is involved. The FBI also wouldn’t comment.

Beck serves as a canine officer for Zanesville’s police department, previous news stories about him show.

Other details about the officers, as well as information about the investigation, were unavailable last night.
