Q&A Questions:

1. Where did your company name originate from?

The name Wraith Tactical was derived from the concept of an unseen or hidden specter or ninja hiding in plain sight. You do not see all the threats that surround you and everything is not as it appears.

2. What was the inspiration behind starting your company?

Wraith Tactical was born from the need to better prepare first responders from all disciplines with innovative solutions to the complex problems that they face every day. Real- world experience and innovation is behind every product and service that Wraith Tactical offers. When your job is to save lives and seconds count, you should be given every operational advantage.

3. What is your signature product and how does it work?

Wraith Tactical’s, Concealed Armor Rapid Response Pack (CARR Pack) is what appears to be an everyday backpack but within seconds converts to a full plate carrier with attached multi casualty medical pack. The backpack is unzipped by the plate carrier and the front panel flips around and buckles into place becoming a ballistic carrier with additional magazines, ammo, or any other MOLLE attached items the user wishes to carry in a tactical situation.

4. Why do you believe your products are essential to the police community?

The product was designed in conjunction with Government Training Institute (GTI). GTI has been training first responders since 2003. With thousands of personnel trained in active shooter response, there was an obvious shortcoming with the gear issued to patrol officers, and even crossing over to fire and EMS. There was a need for something that could be quickly deployed and have all the necessary protection and tools first responders may need during an active shooter situation.

5. What has been the biggest challenge your company has faced?

Initially we struggled with keeping up with demand. Once the pack was released and went viral on the internet, we couldn’t keep inventory on the shelves. We had to start reserving pack orders at least eight weeks out. We have since built up our inventory levels to keep up with surges in demand.

6. What makes your company unique?

Our company is owned and operated by individuals that have served at the highest level of law enforcement, military, and emergency services. They now train and work with first responders across the country identifying needs in the community and developing innovative solutions. Products built and tested by the people who use them.

7. What do your customers like best about you and your products?

It is a simple cost effective solution to a very serious problem. Now first responders can have hard plate protection, a full complement of ammunition, and medical supplies for a mass causality situation in just seconds. It’s several products in a single compact package that is easy to store, carry and deploy. 8. What is the most rewarding part of serving the first responder community?

The knowledge that the research and development we do provides our country’s front line with more protection and tools to help them face down our many threats as well as save lives. Helping protect those who have dedicated their lives to protecting others is our biggest reward and why we do what we do.

9. Is there any fun fact or trivia that you’d like to share with our users about you or your company?

The name of our pack was derived from the initial thought that agencies would have their officers place our pack in the trunk of their patrol car. Hence CARR.

10. What’s next for your company? Any upcoming new projects or initiatives?

We are constantly reworking the design of the CARR Pack. Taking feedback from our customers and integrating new and better concepts into the design has brought about some really great new mods that we will be releasing at SHOT Show next year. We are also working on some new concepts to better fit specific disciplines. Look out for new product designs and a much broader product line from us in 2017.
