1. Where did your company name originate from?
WildRose911.com is our name, and it originates from Wild Rose Motors. We have been serving the law enforcement community for 20 plus years and pride ourselves on our reputation and our family values.
2. What was the inspiration behind starting your company?
The police industry needed a business that could supply used and refurbished vehicles to work with their budgets.
3. What is your signature product and how does it work?
Refurbishing is our signature product/service. By refurbishing police vehicles, particularly the Crown Victoria (P71) Interceptor, we can put cars back on the road at one-third of new and equipped replacement cost while upgrading the suspension and braking so they handle and stop better than when they were new.
4. Why do you believe your products are essential to the police community?
We provide an option which has not been available until now. Through our service, the police departments will still be able to use their fleet of P71s far into the future and save millions of dollars. The Crown Victorias are the most reliable and have the lowest fleet running costs at just 18 cents per mile.
5. What has been the biggest challenge your company has faced?
Trying to get the word out about our company has been the biggest challenge we have faced. Law enforcement agencies can now use this new option to revive their old fleets. And we’re not just refurbishing Crown Victorias, we’re also saving the environment by reusing existing materials thereby eliminating additional waste.
6. What makes your company unique?
Our company is the forefront leader in the refurbishing community. We have a product that is not available through the normal dealerships. We have special parts that we have engineered to help stabilize the rear end of the vehicles which in turn prevents fish tailing. These parts are only available through our company. Our pricing sets us apart from other companies because we work with agencies’ shrinking budgets. We upgrade braking systems which is critical in preventing accidents and helps save lives. We have the best in cutting- edge technology and will continue to make our vehicles the safest and all around best refurbished options available.
7. What do your customers like best about you and your products?
Our customers like that we are a family-run, California-certified micro business that cares about our customers and the community. Given the option, law enforcement can maintain safe and reliable fleets and departments can keep more officers on the road to serve our public by saving millions of dollars per year.
8. What is the most rewarding part of serving the first responder community?
The most rewarding part of serving the first responder community is saving lives by supplying a stronger and safer vehicle. We are saving money and allowing departments to employ more officers because of the savings. We are all taxpayers, so this service affects everyone indirectly and makes our community safer and better for our children.
9. Do you support any charitable organizations within public safety?
We give to children’s charities and we subsidize new young drivers. We also donate to church groups, football teams and cheerleading groups within our community. We provide a discounted rate to all current/past law enforcement and military personnel. We are working on starting up a nonprofit youth mentoring program to help with youth drivers training and low-income families.
10. Is there any fun fact or trivia that you’d like to share with our users about you or your company?
I am originally from New Zealand. I have lived in the United States for over 25 years and consider myself a New Zealand/American. The company has been around for over 20 years and we are well known throughout the law enforcement community. We also build decoy police cars to help deter crime in the community for business owners. We give young people apprenticeships. We are expanding and growing. We do not outsource anything; we keep it all in America.
