Video: Boy with optic nerve tumor becomes honorary Texas cop

KATY, Texas — A school police department made a four-year-old boy’s wish come true by making him an honorary member of the force.

According to Click2Houston, Aaron Uroza has always loved law enforcement. But with a diagnosis of an inoperable optic nerve tumor, Uroza will eventually have trouble seeing. Local police wanted to give him a day to remember.

The Katy Independent School District Police Department swore Uroza in Wednesday as an honorary officer, the news station reported. The department surprised him with a personalized uniform, badge and patrol motorcycle.
