LINCOLN, N.D. — A collision between a Lincoln police car and another car at an intersection in Lincoln left a woman injured, the NorthDakota Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the intersection of Lincoln Road and 66th Street Southeast, in Lincoln.
The patrol said Brittany Entzi, 21, of Lincoln, who was driving the car, was hospitalized. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The patrol said Lincoln Police Officer Bradley Heger, 24, of Bismarck was going to stop another car as he drove toward a stop sign at the intersection.
The other car kept going north and Heger, with his patrol car light bar activated, did not stop at the stop sign as he followed the vehicle, the patrol said.
The right front part of the patrol car collided with the left front part of Entzi’s car, the patrol said. Heger was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation, Patrol Sgt. Steven Fischer said.
