MEET THE SPEAKERS:
Lieutenant Sean Lundry of the Sandy (OR) Police Department has been in law enforcement for over 20 years, having served in a variety of roles within patrol, investigations, special emergency response, field training, emergency management, first line supervision, and command. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice & Master of Science in Management, both from Strayer University. Sean holds an Executive Certification from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training. Sean is an adjunct instructor in Criminal Justice and Public Administration at Montreat College’s “School of Adult & Graduate Studies.”
Amos Halava is a 22 year volunteer firefighter and 19 year law enforcement officer from Carter County TN. In the fire dept he has served as firefighter, captain, assistant chief, and fire chief. His recent duties has been implementing the Team Awareness Kit (TAK.gov) in the upper east TN region as a situational awareness tool for all disciplines of first response. The T-Mobile Connecting Heroes program has facilitated this effort as a force multiplier.
MODERATOR: Gary Giles worked 28 years in Public Safety as a Police Officer and Firefighter. He spent the first 20 years of his career in Orem, Utah where he left at the rank of Lieutenant. Gary become Chief of Police in Portland, Texas, a suburb of Corpus Christi, then two years later, was recruited to return to Orem, Utah as Chief of Police. Gary retired from Law Enforcement in 2020 and is currently the West Region Public Safety Advisor/Industry Expert for T-Mobile for Government. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy Session #243
