(SOMERSET, Mass.) – A Massachusetts police officer got an unpleasant surprise when he found a bag with dismembered human remains during a traffic stop.
Four young men have been arrested and charged with being accessories to murder. Todd Costa, a police officer in Somerset in southeastern Massachusetts near the Rhode Island border, pulled the Jeep Cherokee over early Sunday afternoon. The Jeep was driven by Osiris Parra, 18 of Providence, R.I., and his passengers have been identified as Frank Sanchez-Collins and Marcos Quinones, 19, both of Providence and Steven Quinlan, 21.
Massachusetts investigators are working with Rhode Island police to identify the remains and link them to any unsolved killings or missing persons cases.
