(NEW YORK) -- A woman approached yesterday by a cop patrolling Queens’ Boulevard of Death struck the officer with her car’s rear-view mirror as she tried to escape, police said. Alla Borukhova, 33, was double-parked at 7:15 p.m. on the west side of Queens Blvd., near 64th Road in Rego Park, when a cop arrived, police said.

As the officer was writing up the double parking violation, the woman suddenly pulled away, striking him with the mirror, police said.

But with cops in pursuit, the 1992 Toyota didn’t get far.

Borukhova was arrested and charged with assaulting a cop, reckless endangerment and obstructing governmental administration. She also was ticketed for an expired inspection sticker, police said.

Cops have stepped up patrol of the busy, six-lane thoroughfare, where 73 pedestrians have been killed since 1993.

Officer Stefan Olynyk was treated at Jamaica Hospital and released, officials said.
