NORTH YORKSHIRE, England — A man who failed to show up to court for driving offenses taunted police while dressed as Waldo from Where’s Waldo.
Police searched for JJ McMenamin, 30, in early January, even calling in K-9s and helicopters for backup, the BBC reported.
While authorities searched for McMenamin, he posted multiple photos on Facebook dressed as Waldo to taunt police.
One photo shows a mugshot of Waldo with the caption “JJ - Hide Seek Champion 2016-17.” Another shows McMenamin’s face photoshopped on the character’s body with the text “Dude … I’m right here.”
Eventually, McMenamin turned himself him, but not before dressing up again and live streaming the video on Facebook.
He faces charges of driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
