The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has finished its investigation of the Grand Rapids Police Department officer-involved shooting from July 4.

The Crow Wing County Attorney’s Office will review the BCA’s findings. A 17-year-old Grand Rapids teen faces seven charges — five of them felony counts — after allegedly leading Itasca County authorities on a high-speed pursuit during which Grand Rapids police officer William Saw fired shots at the fleeing vehicle. No one was hit.

Speeds during the pursuit exceeded 100 mph, and two officers received minor injuries while apprehending the suspect.
