SACO, Maine — Police arrested an Old Orchard Beach man Thursday at a Saco park that has drawn recent complaints from the public as a place illicit activity is occurring.

Allen Hahn, 64, is accused of assault and unlawful sexual contact, both Class D misdemeanors, Saco Deputy Chief Jeffrey Holland said.

Hahn’s arrest is the second at Cascade Falls Park this week. Daniel Latham of Yarmouth was nabbed Tuesday when he was found walking naked around the park’s trails.

On Thursday shortly after 1 p.m., an undercover officer was walking down a trail overlooking Cascade Falls when a man later identified as Hahn approached him, Holland said.

The pair engaged in a brief conversation, during which Hahn allegedly stepped toward the undercover officer, grabbed his genitals through his clothing and asked, “Are we doing this?”

The officer quickly identified himself and placed Hahn under arrest, Holland said. Hahn was taken to the Saco police station, booked on the charges and released on $560 cash bail. His first court appearance is July 10.

Holland said undercover police work at Cascade Falls Park, which is owned by the City of Saco and has an extensive trail system, will continue due to recent complaints from the public of illicit and suspicious behavior.
