ROWLETT, Texas — A series of photos capturing a Texas officer having tea with the girl that he saved have gone viral.
CBS-DFW reports Corporal Patrick Ray responded to a call last year of a young girl choking on a coin.
The girl, Bexley Norvell, had already turned blue when Ray arrived on scene, but the officer was able to save her.
Bexley, now 2, recently invited Ray over for tea as the anniversary of the rescue approached. Her mother, Tammy, hired a professional photographer to capture the moment. She told CBS-DFW that with all of the negativity surrounding police these days, she thought she’d show the public a different perspective.
