Panasonic recently announced the release of their newest Toughbook, a thin, lightweight 14-inch semi-rugged laptop.
The Toughbook 54 is more affordable than the fully rugged Toughbook, and features a 5th generation Intel Core i5 vPro processor and options including a hot-swappable second battery.
Ideal for users on the go, the Toughbook 54 offers 11 hours of continuous battery life and 18 with the optional second battery.
Other features include a full magnesium alloy case with handle, dual drives, up to 16GB of memory, and a 1080p full HD display and webcam. It’s been tested to endure a three-foot drop on 26 faces and yields a spill-resistant keyboard, touchpad, hinges, and display.
MSRP for the Toughbook 54 is $1,499 and includes a three-year limited warranty.
