NORMAN, Okla. — An armed man who held hostages inside an Oklahoma office building during a more than four-hour standoff has surrendered.
Police in Norman say 29-year-old Devin Rogers surrendered shortly after 4:45 p.m. Monday after holding a man and a woman hostage inside the building.
Police Capt. Tom Easley told reporters there were no injuries, but the two hostages would be medically examined as a precaution.
Easley says Rogers was armed with a pistol when he entered the building shortly before 12:30 p.m. and took the hostages. Easley said investigators are searching for a motive and to learn why Rogers chose that particular building.
