Carrying spot for your backup knife
I have been an officer for three years and recently had a vest carrier customized for me. As a female officer it was a little bit of a challenge but the company, (Protac, based in Illinois) did an excellent job. One of my requests was a hidden knife pocket on my strong side. I had an inside strap added to hold the knife in place. However I will probably be back one more time to have the strap moved out further for easier access. It’s my last resort knife, very sharp. I also carry an all-around knife in my breast pocket. When I wear my cargo pants I carry an additional in-between knife hidden on the opposite side.
