We are not all built the same...but I have found that by carrying the holster a little bit further back on my belt, I can draw with either hand. I can reach behind my back with my weak hand and both draw and reload it.
I think it is important to find a way to do this because you may not have the gun drawn yet when your strong arm becomes disabled.
