NEW YORK — Police have set up a Facebook page to try to identify the body of a woman they found in a park in upstate New York Sunday morning.

Police have ruled the case a homicide after finding the “charred” body, but determining the identity of the woman has proved troublesome, according to an article on AllFacebook.

Police believe she may have been in her mid to late twenties, was about 5 feet 9 inches and 150 pounds.

Photos on the Facebook page show the Levi Strauss 524 jeans she was wearing as well as her colorful, lower-back tattoo in hopes someone will recognize the items and come forward with information.

New York State Crime Stoppers offered a $2,500 reward on Monday to anyone who could provide any information that would lead to an arrest and potential conviction of the homicide suspect.
