PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — An arrested Floridia man left Pinellas County deputies scratching their heads after they found syringes up his rectum, according to a report by the Tampa Bay Times. He told them the syringes weren’t his.
The Tampa Bay Times called it “the Shaggy Defense.”
Wesley Dasher Scott, 40, was arrested Friday for a 2018 outstanding warrant involving drugs, the Tampa Bay Times said.
Deputies removed three syringes from Scott’s rectum, the report showed.
Scott was charged with introducing contraband to the Pinellas County Jail and is being held with a $5,000 bond, the report said.
