PRINCETON, N.J. — Princeton University is evacuating after receiving a phoned in bomb threat against multiple buildings.
The university says state, federal and local law enforcement agencies are investigating.
Dan Day, a school spokesman, says employees were told to leave the central New Jersey campus just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. An hour later, cars were streaming out of campus lots. At least one gate to the university was shut.
No classes are in session, though some summer programs are.
The university told employees that most would not be expected to return to work Tuesday.
